Public Housing Waiting List Open for Suffolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority
The Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority housing program is designed to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing for low to moderate-income families. SRHA application process for rental assistance for the Public Housing Program will be opened effective Monday, January 22, 2018 for one bedroom units only. Preference will be given to working families employed at least 20 hours per week, a person age 62 or older or persons with disabilities will also be given the benefit of the working preference. Applications are distributed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until Monday, February 12, 2018. Applications may be picked up at 530 East Pinner Street Suffolk, Virginia 23434 between the hours of 9:00 am until 3:00 pm and can be downloaded on our website at www.suffolkrha.org. Completed applications must be mailed and received by February 26, 2018 to the address above. Faxed or email applications will not be received.
